Newspapers vs Internet news

Once, it was hard to imagine the morning without a newspaper. We get up, have a cup of coffee and read newspapers to find the latest news from the country and the world. Today the world has changed. Every hour there is news, every minute something happens. To get the latest news, just go to the Internet. And if you prefer, you can even receive updates (the results of football matches, for example), directly on your mobile phone. And this, of course, is not to mention the television news channels, which broadcast 24 hours a day. So who really needs newspapers and is there still the future of this industry?

First of all, many people read newspapers out of habit. Indeed, why, to change something? Why turn on a computer or a television, if tomorrow morning we will find a newspaper at the door. And if there’s been anything abnormal before, we’ll probably hear about it on TV. The feeling of reading the newspaper is like reading books, and it is ingrained in many people. You can read during meals, in bed before bed, or even in the bathroom. You can certainly use the laptop in these places, but it’s a lot less convenient.

Major newspapers around the world have already noticed this problem for a long time. They understand that Internet news is the future. You should also join this trend and this will help in particular to promote the newspaper. Whoever doesn’t, will be left behind. Creating a new and popular site with interesting material is not detrimental to the newspaper, but also broadens the sources of funding. Many of those who advertise on the Internet are not always advertised in newspapers. Thus, a circle, in which the newspaper promotes the website and the website, attracts new readers to the newspaper. Of course, the website belonging to the well-known newspaper has an excellent starting point on the Internet.

Statistics from around the world show that the number of newspaper readers is falling every year, and this is quite reasonable. The younger generation does not have a natural attraction to paper, newspapers and books and is more drawn to buttons and screens. So it is clear that slowly the bulk of the newspaper budget will shift to the internet. During this transition period, they must retain their best reporters, or their level drops and they will lose many readers.

Personally, my family and I have stopped reading newspapers a long time ago, and it happened as soon as I realized that all the news that I read there, I already knew from websites or from television. If the newspaper does not give new information, why buy it and waste precious time? Online news sites save time, allow you to filter content, and make information retrieval convenient and efficient. I like sites that collect the latest news from different sources. In this way you can obtain convenient and more reliable objective information.
