After dating a few different men, you may think that finding love is like finding a needle in a haystack. You would need to be the luckiest woman in the world to find Mr. Perfect.
I hear stories of women who meet a man, know it is him, and are now happily married. The problem with these stories is that you don’t hear about the dozens of dates she went on before meeting him.
Sure there are people who meet the perfect man on their first date, but most would agree that they are the exception, not the norm.
While we know these are notions from fairy tales, it’s fun to think that it can happen. But back in the real world, you must realize that you never know where you will find love.
It could be someone you date. Someone at your new job. Your new neighbor. Look for love everywhere. But date for fun. If you are looking for love on a date, you will end up disappointed. While it is possible to connect with a man right away, for most of us it takes time.
No man wants to go on a date that is more like a prenuptial interview. He’s not looking for a wife on your first date. Nothing scares a man faster on the first two dates than a woman with marriage in mind. take the pressure off and maybe you can have fun. When you are having fun, you give your date a chance to see the real you. It also allows him to be himself.
Stop looking for love. I’m not saying that when you stop looking, it will fall into your lap. But, when you stop worrying about it, dating becomes easier. Before you go out on a date, decide that you will have fun. Go out because you like him and want to spend time with him.
Enjoy your time together without expectations. Relax and don’t feel pressured to have a loving connection. Take the time to get to know him, chances are you will have more fun and he will too.
When you are comfortable with dating, you tend to go on more dates. Men will be more open to dating you if they don’t feel the pressure of ‘love’ on the first date. So remember to start dating for fun, since you never know where you will find love.
