best harrison ford movies

Here is my list of best harrison ford movies. He’s been in a lot over the past few decades, but here’s my take on the best Harrison Ford movies:

american graffiti
A classic snippet of teenage life in 1962. American Graffiti seemed to capture the true feeling of kids enjoying the last day of freedom before going off to college.

star wars trilogy
Of course, Star Wars wasn’t Star Wars without the gruffness and you meant it, Han Solo. Ford was a true star in this trilogy that will go down in history as the greatest science fiction movie of all time.

in search of the lost ark
Han Solo or Indiana Jones, which character achieved greater stardom? Having two major movie series with both characters becoming household names is something that doesn’t happen too often in Hollywood. Although I loved Star Wars, I have to say that Indian Jones is my favorite.

Bounty hunter
Like Rick Deckard, Ford is a Blade Runner, a policeman tasked with taking down replicants, which are human clones. A timeless work and highly regarded as one of the best science fiction movies of all time and one of the best Harrison Ford movies of all time.

Witness
A subtle film filled with great humor and meaning. Witness shows the delicate balance between cultures and the dangers of crossing them.

working girl
The cast of the film works very well, Ford along with Melanie Griffith and Sigourney Weaver create a perfect exchange. Easily the best Griffith performance of her life.

Indiana Jones and the last crusade
I skipped The Temple of Doom on this list, it was a good movie, but I don’t think it’s of the same caliber as Raider of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Bringing in Sean Connery to play Indy’s dad was a brilliant move, the two actors shined on each other.

presumed innocent
The emotion and mood created in the film did the book justice and was one of Ford’s best performances.
