Le Meridien St Julians Hotel and Spa is one of the best 5 star Maltese hotels you can find in Balluta Bay. I have been there several times and I want to reveal a few things about this beautiful hotel. However, I will try to make this article as objective and informative as possible.
First of all, the location is very nice. Quite close to the capital of the island, Valletta, Balluta Bay is a beautiful place, with romantic restaurants on the water, beautiful gardens (the Independence Gardens), beautiful landscapes and a long promenade that allows you to explore almost the entire bay on foot.
This luxurious 5-star hotel in Malta has almost all the facilities a visitor could wish for:
o Recharge your energy in the ultra-modern Lotus Fitness Center, located on level 2 of the complex, where you can choose from programs such as personal training or fun aerobics classes.
o Relax and unwind at the luxury spa, Lotus Spa Myoka. “Myoka” means “mysterious flower” in Japanese, and a “Myoka Spa” is based on the belief that our beauty is like a flower that needs to be discovered.
o On the 9th floor is the executive lounge, which is only available for people who book an Executive Room or Suite. Daily newspapers, free drinks, free Internet connection and free private breakfasts are just some of the features.
o If you are in Balluta Bay on business, you can use the Le Meridien St Julians business center for conferences, business meetings and whatever else you need to do.
o The Penguin Club is where you can take your kids and watch them have fun all day. It is on the ground floor and is for children from 2 to 12 years old. You can even organize parties for your children at the Penguin Club.
o There are two swimming pools: the indoor Lotus pool and the outdoor pool “La Bajja”.
o Two car parks: underground and outdoor. It is free to park in any of them if you are a hotel guest. I had no problem parking during my stay.
