cook breakfast quickly

You get up in the morning and get ready for your day. And of course, you grab some toast, some cold cereal, or a cup of coffee and run out the door. You don’t think about the fact that skipping breakfast is the reason you lose your fire and energy at ten in the morning. Instead, you think you’re losing energy because you’re not getting enough sleep. So, the next morning, go ahead and get fifteen more minutes of sleep to shave your face (guys you know you’ve done this or at least thought about it) or do your makeup (ladies…please) while driving down the highway at eighty miles per hour. And of course you completely skipped your meager breakfast and will do it again tomorrow. It’s the start of a vicious cycle that has the potential to go on forever, affecting your sleep, work performance, and yes, even your weight, stress levels, and mood.

To avoid the vicious cycle that takes you to where you never want to be, the first thing you have to do is commit to eating breakfast every day. If you’re worried about not being able to commit, there are ways you can help yourself.

My favorite suggestion to offer breakfast skippers everywhere is that they need to buy a crock pot. In fact, if you’ve ever been married (especially if you live in the Mountain West), you probably received one as a wedding present, so you might as well pull it out of the closet. Cooking in crock pots is extremely easy to do and crock pot breakfast recipes are in high demand and in great supply all over the internet and in crock pot cookbooks.

With a clay pot, you can put your breakfast in when you go to bed at ten at night and it will be finished when you get up at five or six. If you aren’t comfortable leaving your crock pot cooking overnight, you can always make a simpler crock pot breakfast recipe first thing when you wake up and it will cook itself while you cook.

However, whether you choose to use the crock pot recipes available on the internet and in crock pot cookbooks or whether you decide to stick to a couple of eggs with your toast and cup of coffee, it’s important to remember that you can’t hit the snooze button twice each morning if you want to break free from the cycle.

As a perpetual snooze button myself, I learned to set my alarm 30 minutes earlier so that I can hit the snooze button twice and still get up in time to cook my crock pot breakfast recipes that help me spend the morning on my computer. .

Since I learned to love breakfast and my crock pot, I have been much more productive. You can oppose opinion, but you cannot oppose science and logic.
