The Coolest Items in World of Warcraft and How to Get Them – Part 2 – Piccolo of the Blazing Fire

This series of articles will cover the rarest and most desired items in the world of Warcraft gaming.

For each covered item, you will find in the article: how to get the item, if there are any additional costs for the item, and what benefits you will get from using it (if any). The Piccolo of Flaming Fire is a deployable item. This item is bound when you pick it up, so it can’t be sold and you can’t buy it in the AH.

You can get it from Hearthsinger Forresten, it can be found in Stratholme. This is a 55-60 dungeon in the Eastern Plaguelands, you can do it only if you are level 70 or higher. Hearthsinger Forresten waypoint is changing, you can find it on the upper sidewalk on Market Row (46.9, 49.9) or Festival Lane (58.0, 52.7). It’s a rare spawn, so you won’t find it in every race in Stratholme. One way to find out if it spawned is by using “/Target Hearthsinger Forresten”. If he did, you’ll know.

You can use the City Key (Stratholme City Master Key) dropped by Magistrate Barthilas (58 Elite) to save some time. Magistrate Barthilas is another boss that you will find inside Stratholme waiting in the church near the service entrance. If he has the key, he can use the service entrance door and get to Hearthsinger Forresten faster.

So why will you need the Piccolo of Flaming Fire? What does?

The Piccolo of Blazing Fire is a trinket that requires level 53 to use. Will cause all members of your faction (Alliance or Horde) within a 5 yard radius to perform the action/dance. It has no special use except fun. You can use it to screw the gold seller into auto mood.

When you use the Piccolo, it will first make you dance and then make a sound. This sound will put on a buff that will make people nearby dance. The buff will break if you lose the mood to dance. You can have fun in a large group or near the mailbox.

Another fun item is the DISCO.

DISCO comes from the World of Warcraft TCG (trading card game) in the form of a loot card. Loot cards are special rare versions of WoW TCG cards found in booster packs, starter decks, and raid decks that have a unique code so you can redeem it for the item. This item is also bound when picked up, so you won’t have a chance to buy it in AH. The card will set you back about $50 on eBay (which isn’t that high when you consider that the average cost of getting this particular swag is $490.00 if you buy the cards yourself).

The DISC works for all Alliance or Horde characters, at all levels. When the player clicks on the DISCO ball, it will start dancing.
