For all those who want to go the extra mile and cross the border, there are a few things to keep in mind. Proof of citizenship is a must to enter Canada. This can be a passport, original or certified birth certificate, a photo ID such as a driver’s license. A single document is not enough. Depending on the process, it takes between ten and twenty minutes to cross.
You should also be ready to answer a few questions about your travel arrangement, where and how long you plan to stay, etc. Passports will also be required.
