Look more muscular, defined and better with a tan

Introduction:
There is a little secret known to the world and the bodybuilding community, which most ordinary people have never heard of. That secret is the tan. A good tan on a bodybuilder will keep them from fading under the bright stage lights, and a good tan will make them look more muscular and defined. Tanning can be achieved by tanning outdoors, using a tanning salon, or by using artificial tanning dyes, skin dyes, or sunscreens.

Why does the skin tan?:
The skin tans due to the exposure of the skin to ultraviolet radiation. When the skin is exposed to ultraviolet radiation, melanin, which is the skin’s pigment, darkens. A good point to remember is that the darker the skin, the better it protects the body from ultraviolet radiation, however, always remember that even the darkest skin can burn.

How to tan:
Most people don’t have a clue how to get a tan, they just sit outside for a long time and eventually get sunburned even if they use sunscreen. Not to mention the damage done to your skin. It’s best to tan in stages, twenty to thirty minutes during each session!

A good tan regiment should look like this:

Monday
Tuesday—- twenty to thirty minutes a day
Wednesday
Thursday—- twenty to thirty minutes a day
Friday
Saturday—- twenty to thirty minutes a day
Sunday

Is it safe to tan?:
One may wonder if tanning is safe or healthy, the answer to that is that it depends on the type of tan you get. For example, getting a tan from the sun is not healthy, and sun exposure is known to cause wrinkles, skin cancer, and give the skin a leathery appearance. Using a tanning salon is also not safe and requires proper safety equipment, however using tanning dyes, skin tints, or bronzers is the safest route to getting a good tan. However, if one tans in moderation, while wearing proper safety gear such as sunscreen, then the downsides of tanning should be minimal.

Conclusion:
For the average person who has built a good foundation of muscle mass and size from lifting weights, you should get a tan. This will help improve their physique, they will get more defined and look more muscular. However, you have to remember that doing this in excess is not safe, which is why I personally recommend using artificial tanners, such as tanning tints, skin tints, and bronzers.
