Is Juice Plus a scam?
Juice Plus is a supplement that has been around since 1993. At one point, I considered the product as a potential source of nutritional benefit for my family. I was even interested in becoming a distributor so that I can earn residual income as many people are looking for ways to improve their nutrition just like you and me. I will not openly say that Juice Plus is a scam. I have carefully analyzed many business opportunities, especially healthcare-related companies, and I will say that there are many fraud companies out there. I think Juice Plus is actually one of the best companies out there, but in my search for the best source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and general nutritional supplements … a little research let me know that Juice Plus + was not for me. Let me tell you why I decided it wasn’t for me.
Juice Plus Company
Juice Plus is manufactured by a company called Natural Alternatives International in Santa Monica, California and distributed by National Safety Associates (NSA) in Tennessee. NSA started in 1970 and before introducing Juice Plus, it was known for other products marketed at various levels. Juice Plus scam? No, they are just a smart company that seems to follow the business trends of the decades. Remember all those water filter companies that were popular in the 1980s? Well, this company sold home fire detectors when they were popular in the 70’s, water filters in the early 80’s, and air filters in the late 80’s. They also sold educational games at one point.
While some companies in the past have made multi-level marketing look bad, there is nothing wrong with using the sales distribution method known as multi-level marketing. Done right, it can benefit more people than traditional marketing, save people money, and can also help a product reach many people who may never have learned about the product.
So from a business point of view, it seems like they have the right idea. They follow the trends.
Juice Plus products
Its main products are Juice Plus, which are not really juices, but powder in capsules. This is better than juice because juice supplements like the popular Acai berry juice, noni juice, Mona vie juice, or mangosteen juice products will start to oxidize as soon as you open the bottle. This liquid oxidation is harmful to the body. The Juice Plus blend includes great ingredients that come from fruits such as acerola berries, apples, blueberries, oranges, papaya, peaches, and pineapple. Your Juice Plus + contains vegetables that come from barley, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, kale, oatmeal, parsley, spinach, and tomato. So to answer the question is Juice Plus fraud, I say there is no Juice Plus scam as they sell real products with decent ingredients.
It is common knowledge that by increasing your daily intake of fruits and vegetables, you can improve your health and well-being. Eating more fruits and vegetables will help your body rid itself of free radical cells, as well as a natural antioxidant in the body. I just don’t feel like this product has enough fruits and veggies for me, that’s it.
Some juicy problems
Their Juice Plus Gummies supplement for kids was found to be around 80% corn syrup and 10% beef gelatin, making the product almost devoid of any nutritional benefit. So these aren’t much better than the vitamin / mineral gummies you can buy at your local store. They are both basically sweet!
I guess their other products probably have a better quality of nutrition than this one, but I saw a few other issues that made me shy away.
The big problem
I couldn’t find any of the product labels on your site.
The biggest problem I saw was that in all the searches on your company website, I couldn’t find any of the product labels for any of your products! What are they trying to hide? Sure they list some fruits and vegetables, but they don’t say how much of each fruit they use. They don’t show you the nutrition facts so you can see how much sugar and natural or artificial ingredients are in each product.
I didn’t like having to buy the product to see the product labels..
Some other problems I saw …
1. The products weren’t unique enough
2. There was not enough research and science
3. Testimonials were missing
4. The products weren’t made to high enough standards that you want to pay the extra money.
5. Not all of its ingredients were organic and / or vegetable.
Juice Plus Research
One thing that struck me when evaluating Juice Plus for the first time was that the product had been featured at least in scientific journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine, Nutrition Research, Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Integrative Medicamento.
But wait a second! I soon found out that of the published peer-reviewed studies, only one was done independently! The others were funded and / or written by the manufacturer, primary distributor, or individual Juice Plus distributors. That made me a little suspicious!
Juice Plus testimonials
A serious mistake was made in casting former professional soccer player OJ Simpson to be a celebrity endorsement of the product. Simpson received a six-figure, multi-year contract to sign with the NSA as a company icon. Personally, I like to see a company that has a product that is so good that star athletes use the supplement on their own, simply because they like the additional performance gain and benefits they get from using it.
OJ Simpson’s testimony was further discarded after he was accused of murdering his wife and friend Ronald Goldman. In March 1994, shortly before these murders occurred, he was videotaped telling 4,000 Juice Plus distributors at a sales meeting that Juice Plus + had cured his arthritis, improved his game of golf, and freed him from need. to use anti-arthritic medications. However, his defense attorneys in the 1995 criminal trial and 1997 civil trial (and in his 2007 book If I Did It) suggested that Simpson was so disabled by arthritis that he could not have committed the murders. They also went on to say that Simpson was using a variety of powerful anti-inflammatory drugs, such as sulfasalazine and ibuprofen. Well, this may have been what improved his arthritis enough to allow him to have a better game of golf.
My conclusion
In conclusion, I looked at them as a health product and as a source of a second income, as they use the residual income model that I like. To answer the question, is Juice Plus a scam? No, I don’t think Juice Plus is a scam, but Juice Plus wasn’t for me. You should do your own research. I found an alternative that I am very happy with.
